Outside Christmas Decorations - Do You Go All Out, Or Not So Much?

Donna and I LOVE watching the "Great Christmas Light Fight Show."

If you have not seen it, I will explain it to you. Well, even if you HAVE seen it, I'll explain it to you.

Carter Oosterhouse and Taniya Nayak travel all over America in search of the most elaborate, fantastic, enormous, beautiful, synchronized , heartwarming, and spectacular Christmas displays imaginable!

The winner gets 50,000 "smackers," and a real cheap looking trophy that they seem thrilled to receive. (I don't get that part, but whatever trims your tree.)

Some of these folks work on these displays all year long, spend thousands of dollars on millions of lights and electronical, electrical equipment and blow molds. Hundreds of blow molds!
I never knew these were called blow molds until I watched this show.

So, let's get to the point, okay? No more jim-jammin' around, right? Go directly to the heart of this blog story, with no further ado, kapeesh?

I, personally, would NEVER go to these stratospheric levels of obsessive decorating...even for 50,000 "smackers!" (However, most of these families have done this for many years, just for the "heck of it."
I would REALLY need to get paid for doing this!

What about you? If you had the money, time,
patience, and skill to do one of these mammoth displays, would ya?

Not I, said the duck...

Seriously, guys and gals, let me know if you would go all out or not so much, in the comments section.

By the way, just to divert from our main subject a bit, the heart of a blog is the interaction between the blogger and the bloggees, if bloggees is an actual word.

It's FUN to interact with each other, spar a little, laugh at each other, transparently share our feigned outrage ('cause that's really popular), And most importantly...SHARE YOUR LOVE!
