Danny? Why do you keep writing songs, doing blogs, auditioning for movie roles, sending stuff to the Greg and Dan Radio Show, and putting videos on YouTube, when you are about two steps away from kicking the bucket, at the age of 70, on May 14, 2020? (Birthday CASH will be just fine...I'm joking about the cash, folks)
Well, it's NOT because of you guys! Although I LOVE all you faithful readers!
This is not me. Just an example of author who loves his readers!
No, it's because I need to keep my disintegrating brain active before it shrivels up and dies in a pool of uselessness. In addition, I need to share my bizarre stuff with you guys, and gals, to convince myself that I'm just not imaginating what I'm creating, and have confirmation from the outside world that I truly exist!
That makes YOUR role in Bloggadocious 222, and all my other artistic fabrications, of utmost importance! If I never received any responses on my unique musical and comedy creations, I would have no idea if I REALLY created them!
For example, over the Easter Holiday season I posted two songs I had written in the past, and expected to receive THOUSANDS of positive, or negative responses to them!
For instance...
1. "Did you write them yourself? Wow! I could tell!"
2. "I hated the lyrics, but they were easy to dance too! Good beat!"
3. "Beautiful, inspirational songs! I can't believe they came from you!"
4. "Keep your day job! Oh, I forgot, you don't have a day job!"
5. "I heard your songs, next time could you play Over The Hill And Far Away!"
You know, maybe I have my expectations set way too high! Instead of expecting thousands of comments, I should only expect hundreds of responses, or scores of comments, or only a handful, like I usually receive.
This sounds good...
...But what fun is that?
This is more like it!!!
Admitting I'm mediocre, like Salieri, is too hard to accept, for my super fragile ego. Humor me and join in, wouldja? Ha ha!!
