My Snow Poem On A Snowy Day
We got a little snow again, oh, my,
Just enough to make me wanna cry,
It's not like we are snowbound and can't go,
But my dog is tired of walking in the snow.
Not my dog, because Chevy (my dog) would not go out in snow this deep!
I wish I had a powerful snow thrower,
One that clears my driveway clean and nice,
I tried to do the job with my lawn mower,
And now my mower's covered up in ice!
If I were an Eskimo I'd like it,
I'd go out hunting seals with a big grin,
My igloo would protect me on those few days,
When snow was piling way up to my chin.
You may think I am wimpy and a weenie,
When I let snow leave me cowering in fear,
Leave me alone, and don't you be a meanie,
I'll head on out there after my 12th beer!
Just kidding folks!
I don't drink beer anymore!
I don't drink beer any less either!
This IS kinda purdy!!
