Thanksgiving Poem 2021
Thanksgiving is wonderful,
Eating food with reckless abandon,
Turkey, dressing, taters,
Until you look like old Ralph Kramden
Traveling to grandma's house,
Covered dish lay on the seat,
Have to make a sudden stop,
Green bean casserole on your feet.
Uncle Amos at the table,
Talking politics and religion,
He gazes at the roasted bird,
"Is that a turkey or a pigeon?"
