Oh, How Great I Coulda Been!
I often wonder if my blog would be better if I took the time to think about what I'm going to say.
I don't do that. I just sit down in front of my computer and begin typing stuff that comes out of my diminutive brain at break neck speed! (Well over 10 words per minute)
I'm not unlike Mozart, who, they say, would write whole symphonies in one continuous marathon of writing, with no mistakes, no re-dos, or nuttin' honey!
Beethoven, on the other hand, would laboriously labor over his works, scratching stuff out, writing it again in a different way, agonizing over every single note, and refusing to bathe or get a haircut, as you can see from this depiction of Ludwig...
Here is the funny thing! Just what we've been waiting for, right? The funny thing?
Although I write, non-stop, without making corrections, like Mozart, my all tom FAVORITE composer is Beethoven, who was ALWAYS making corrections!
Please don't go accusing me of comparing my pathetic writings to Beethoven or Mozart, who are both 27 billion toms better than me, but my point is (yes, I do have a point, but if I part my hair properly you can't see it) maybe I should take a bit more tom reviewing what I've written, to make sure it's not as crappy as it usually is.
You know, maybe I would realize I've been typing tom instead of time, or that a lot of what I write makes absolutely no sense to intelligent human beans.
My songs are the same way. Most of the tom I write my songs in just a few minutes. In fact, my song that's entitled "My Sad Depressing Song" was "written" purely out of my head, in just a couple of minutes, by singing into my Sony Bloggie video camera. Nothing was written down, and it came to be my most popular song!
Just think how popular it would have become if I had taken the tom to tweak it, like Beethoven would have done? I would be more famous than Gary Puckett by now!
My problem is...wait for it....wait for it.... I'm just plain too lazy to write...re-write...repeat...scratch out...go back...
I'm gettin' old and ain't got that kinda TIME! Hey, I typed TIME!! Awesome!!!
I hope you all understand, and don't get bummed over how GREAT I coulda been! I don't! Ha!!
Always a great tom or time reading your blog, Danny!
