A Potpourri Of Stuff For A Tuesday

I like being retired, but it ain't all it's cracked up to be.

1. More time to do stuff, but not as much energy to do that stuff.

2. Freedom to take vacations, but not enough money to go on 'em. (Unless you've made a lot of pazoozas throughout your life and saved it. I've done neither)

My affordable vacation spot.

3. Folks will excuse our unfiltered speech and nutty behavior, due to our ancient brains headed for senility, but only to a breaking point, where they cart our butts to Shady Acres 'till we die.

As you know, Bloggadocious 222 is not here to talk about the pros and cons of retirement. That would be "boresville," to borrow a made up word from a previous blog.

Our goal is to make you smile that smile I know you can smile! You can do it. I know you're dying NOT to smile, and thinking, I'm not gonna smile just because that dumb Danny wants me to smile, but, was that the beginnings of a little smile starting to form? Uh? Uh? Come on. I can see it happening. There ya go! You can't stop it now. Oooh, oooh, it's coming...Ha!

I've been seeing robin birds attacking squirrels a lot! I do not know why the robins are attacking those poor innocent squirrels, but I'm guessing the squirrels are getting too close to their little blue eggs.

Do squirrels eat robin's eggs? You tell me, I'm not a birdologist!

I'm bothered by harmless creatures getting picked on by bully birds, or being bullied by ANY other animals! Life is hard enough for the woodland inhabitants, and they should be given a break from senseless abuse by sadistic...uh...abusers!

On the other hand, that's the way God made things.
Animals chase each other, frighten weaker animals, and eat their fellow animals!

No, I do not understand God's purpose in this, but He is WAY smarter than me, and I'm not questioning Him for one second! I will ask Him about it in heaven, if He has time! (Just a joke, God has all the time he needs)

Your number is 7,975,432,867, 423. Now serving 2.

Speaking of "kick-flicks," I just don't believe that when Jet Li, or Bruce Lee, or Moon Lee, or any of those Lees kick and punch a "bad guy," they are gonna stay down for good.

Picture this.  Jet, Bruce and Moon are infiltrating an evil, foreign military installation that has dozens of guards protecting it. Maybe even 200 guards!

They have to be quiet, so they go through the secret facility kicking and punching the guards, trusting that they will not wake up.

However, in the final scenes, when Jet, Bruce and Moon are fighting the FINAL bad guys, our heroes can punch and kick them 100 times each, and the final bad guys keep fighting! Why don't they go down and stay down like the guards, with just one punch or kick?

Chuck Norris did not go down with one punch!

I guess I'm being too nitpicky. Maybe the FINAL bad guys have been trained to withstand the forces of a swift kick or one inch punch better than the common guards. I overthink, don't I?

It's Tuesday, so I'm allowed to go all over the place with my blog. You didn't know that, did you?

Please Stop And Think Of What Could Have Been...Without Our Heroes!

I don't do a serious blog, but there are times when I need to share my real feelings on how God has blessed us in America.

Imagine how terrifying it would have been to see Hitler's tanks rolling down the streets of America after our losing World War Two.

Japanese planes flying overhead in triumph.

Not knowing if we were soon to be executed, or placed in concentration camps.

Maybe, if we survived, being enslaved by cruel "masters" who could torture or kill us at at their whim.

I am totally convinced that Hitler would have treated us no better than the 6 million Jews he exterminated!

If not exterminated, we would have seen our American culture, language, religious freedom, and history completely eliminated!

All of these things, I truly believe,  are a very accurate picture of what might have been, if not for the self sacrificing Americans who gave their precious lives to keep us free!

To take this even further back, would slavery had ended without the ultimate sacrifice of the Union soldiers, who put the freedom of a persecuted minority ahead of their own lives?

On Memorial Day we take time to thank these men and women for not only fighting for our liberty, but giving EVERYTHING to preserve our freedom!

Stop and think about what our lives would be like without their unbelievably loving sacrifice, and thank God for this "greatest generation" of people who never failed in their mission, even to the point of sacrificing themselves for all of us!

What Is The Main
Porpoise Of This Blog?

Oft times I forget the main porpoise of Bloggadocious 222 , my daily blog.

Well, it's daily, except for the weekends, when I take a break from serving you lovable little blog readers.

Anywho, the MAIN porpoise of my blog is to take you away from the stresses, struggles and sadness of this old life we're living, and take you to a destination of happiness, relief and soothing relaxation.

It's a tough gig, but somebody's got to do it!

Everyone should start their day with a song, like Snow White.

Remember when she would sing and all of the forest animules and birds would gather around inside the cottage to sing and chirp along...

Watch this and you won't need any additional
mind altering substances to cheer you up today!

I kinda feel like Snow White as I walk down the street and talk to the squirrels, rabbits, birds, dogs, cats, ants, butterflies and anything that moves.

It doesn't matter that these creatures run from me , or the squirrels chatter at me, and the birds dive bomb me. I still feel like Snow White by just being around God's creations, and having conversations with them!

It goes without saying that the neighbors keep their distance from me, as I talk to the animules...

It's all good, because I'm a "character," and doesn't every neighborhood need a "character?" Sure they do!!

What would folks talk about if they didn't have a "character," to uh...talk about?

Here are a few characters in movie history you may remember...

Jack Elam

Strother Martin

Mary Wickes

Bruce Dern

Peggy from Latvia

The "thing" I don't wanna be is the same as everybody else, mundane, predictable, run of the mill, and ESPECIALLY BORESVILLE!

I had teachers who were extremely BORESVILLE and it was so hard to pay attention to them!

If you ever find this blog as boresville as Ferris Bueller's economics teacher (AKA Ben Stein), don't tell me, please! That would be soooo depressing!

Joy, soothing relaxation, Calgon, laughter, frolicking, petting a puppy, and all of the delightful, pleasing thangs in our brief existence, are embodied in my simple blog. Ain't it grand?!!

So continue to partake of the my daily delirious dose of delightful drivel!  THANKS!!!!!

HEAVEN DOWN THE ROAD

Hi! I wrote this song yesterday. I was not meaning to write this particular song, but it came to me unexpectedly.

Thanks for listening!
