 ♪♫MADNESS MUSIC MONDAYS♫♪

My secret desire is...now, don't tell Sara-Marie Ulsund Stiksrud...is that one day Sara-Marie would do a "cover" of this song below!

Now you're saying, how could she do that?!!
The song talks about having a WIFE, and being a BOY!

Well, okay, maybe she would want to change the words a little, but she wouldn't HAVE to, because she is a free thinking, open minded individual who does not look down on people with alternate sexual lifestyle's!

Why have Sara do it, Danny?!! You ask so inquisitively .
It's because I would LOVE to hear my song done with good sound equipment, a good arrangement, and sweet singing that only Sara-Marie Ulsund Stiksrud can do...or maybe Joni Mitchell!!

However...don't mention this to Sara, because then she'll feel obligated to do it, because she loves me and Cheryl (Yellow Rose), who the song was written about!

On the other hand, if Sara-Marie, SOMEHOW, by ACCIDENT, found out about this, and did the song anyway, I could die a happy man!

Of course, making a poor, sad, old dude like me happy, is of little importance...UNLESS I'm actually an ANGEL, sent here to earth to test the love of people!!

Ya never thought of that, did ya?!!

Yes, just maybe this is only an April Fools joke, OR, maybe this is something that could determine the future destiny of billions of people!!

Including, Sara-Marie Ulsund Stiksrud!

You know, it would be hilarious if Sara really did the song, and came to find out later that I was only doing an April Fools thingy!!

Alas, Sara doesn't read my blog, so my hopes of her seeing this, and viewing it as a challenge to do something a bit different has gone to naught!

Happy April Fools Day!!
Or is it?

Thanks for taking time to hear,
What I have to say,
My words are all for you, my dear,
In a very special way.

Who is there to pick me up,
When I'm lower than a worm,
Who puts a smile upon my face,
And makes my backbone firm.

It's YOU my friend, who cheers me up,
And fills my heart with joy,
Who makes me feel like I exist,
Like a rowdy little boy.

I'd love to stand tall on my own,
Do it all myself alone,
But I'm way too weak for being strong,
Living in the shadow zone.

It's YOU I need to make things right,
To free me from my fears,
My super hero, shining Knight,
Who wipes away my tears.

God knew that I needed help,
And he sent you as a blessing,
To calm my spirit, fill this void,
And keep my mind from stressing.

I don't think you realize,
What you have meant to me,
You walked upon that country road,
And picked up my hearts key.

I was afraid to jump up,
 And look beyond that wall,
But you told me you saw Jesus there,
And we would never fall!

I don't need a lot of cash,
I don't need to drive a Lexus,
Just my God, and wife, and family,
And my Yellow Rose Of Texas!

SURREAL SATURDAYS

I created Surreal Saturdays to help our brains to think beyond the realm of  boring, mundane, everyday stuff, and delve into a word of fantasy and imagination! (But mostly, because I'm silly)

What my Uncle Harry sees after he drinks Uncle Bud's "moonshine!"

So anyway, Doc, my mom was at this party with a horny unicorn and a giant snail.

Oh, stop worrying! It's just the house settling!

Tell me again, how a little bite from a praying mantis wouldn't hurt us, you idiot!!

We've figured out what's causing your vision problems.
It's called "snake eye!"

Oh, good heavens! I shouldn't have insulted that apple vendor!

Another bit of evidence for musical-mammal evolution!

Ain't this vacation spot  great!! I found it on Travelocity. Com.

 FAN FRIDAYS

By now you probably know that on "Fan Fridays" I put the proverbial "spotlight" on someone or something I've been a fan of in my past life, or someone or something I'm still a fan of today.

I think everyone remembers Mel Blanc, who did the amazing voices of Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Tweety Bird, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat, and many others!

However, we ain't talkin' about him on this
"Fan Friday...he gets a lot of recognition
already.

We are going to look at the voice-man who
was closest to my heart!...Daws Butler!

Ever hear of him?
I think you may know the characters he did
the voices for...they include:

  • Aesop's Son (in the "Aesop and Son"

  • Butler would voice most of these

characters for many decades, in both TV

shows and in some commercials. The

    breakfast cereal mascot Cap'n Crunch

became an icon of sorts on Saturday

    morning cartoons through many

    commercials produced by Jay Ward.

Butler gave voice to the Cap'n from the

    1960s to the 1980s.

My favorites were Hokey Wolf, Aesop's

    Son, Elroy Jetson, Snagglepuss, Baba

    Looey, Dixie Mouse, Huckleberry Hound,

Mr. Jinx (the cat), Quick Draw McGraw,

Snoopy, Quisp, and The Wolf from the

    Droopy cartoons!

Who was your favorite, or favorites?

I am a BIG fan of Daws Butler, because he

made me happy as a child, and because he

     had such a cool name!

Not to be putting down the awesome Mel

Blanc, who had a cool sense of humor, as

    you can see below:

    THOUGHTFUL THURSDAYS

As most of you already know, I always write my "Thoughtful Thursdays" blog post in soft subtle colors, to enhance the calm, relaxing atmosphere of this weekly feature.

    Are you comfortable?

Why don't you make some hot steaming tea, put a shot or three of good whiskey in it, prop your feet up (although that's gonna be hard if you have a desktop computer), play some of your favorite music in the background, like this:

<<Go ahead and click this on while you enjoy my classical blog post.

Did you click on the Mozart music?
    By the way,
    it's pronounced Moat-zart.
    Ain't that a kick?!

Why didn't you click it on?

    What?!

    You hate classical music?!!

I understand that loving classical music is an acquired taste, but please go along with this, and play the damn music, so you can RELAX!! OKAY?!!!

    Let's review...

    Good!

Now we can begin our journey to the ultimate peace, satisfaction, contentment, and rapturous ecstasy that you have longed for since you began reading this boring nonsense!

Close your eyes...unless you're driving a car right now, and reading this on your phone.

Let your mind drift, wander, and begin to see wonderful things that your poor heart never imagined.

    See anything?

Maybe you need to drink some more of that "Jacked" tea, hmmm?

Are you actually listening to the music right now?

The magic will not work until all the "ingredients" are in place!

    They are?

    Really?!

    Well, alrighty then.

Take deep breaths and begin to chant...
Jai guru dava om...Jai guru dava om...
over and over until you hear a sitar playing in your brain.
    Do you hear the sitar?
Click on the video above, and maybe you will, numbskull!

I sense that you are feeling a sense of weightlessness, like an astronaut doing one of those somersault thingys in a space capsule.

    Floating...floating...floating...( now echoing) floating...floating...

    Say what?

All that floating made you need to go potty?!

Man, that's gonna break the whole mood!

Just potty or the whole shipload?

Well, then, we don't have that kind of time, anyway!

Hope everything comes out all right!

Remember, you're not done until you do the paperwork!

    Don't fall in!

Well, this Thoughtful Thursday just went in the toilet!
