Who Doesn't Love Puppies?

I'm running behind today, so I've got about 30 minutes to produce a funny, yet brilliant blob for this friday!! Blob?

What to say, what to say?

I know, no wait, I wrote about that last week. Then, how's about...no... that's too controversial. On the other hand...is my glove!! What?

So far, I ain't doin' so great, but I MUST have a Friday blog, or I'll lose all credibility, as if I ever had any credibility to start with.

Okay, I've got it! I'll talk about puppies!! Yeah...EVERYONE loves puppies!!

Then I'll include the cutest picture of a puppy in the thumbnail photo, and nobody will know it's just a ploy to get you all to read this crap!

Aha! Sometimes I'm so clever I have to give myself a reward, like pork rinds! Yes, pork rinds will just be the right thang to reward myself for this unscrupulous blog post!

Crawling Back To Normalcy...Almost

How are all of you doing? I see brief glimpses of normalcy, slowly crawling back into our social experiences. How's about YOU?

List all the things that are better now, than when the panda-demic struck...

Okay...I will...

1. We can go to our kidses (kidses?) athletic events, and other stuff ... some spectators wear masks...some don't.

2. We can go into grocery stores, malls, the Dollar 25 stores and many more...where some shoppers wear masks and some do not.

3. We are happy we can go to church, where...guess what...some wear masks and some don't.

4. Now, you can add more to the list in your comments...whether you're wearing a mask at this precise moment, or not!

What's the point? I don't know. Maybe that things aren't as normal as we would like, but more normal than what it was when things weren't normal?

Cold Enough For Ya?

Oft times, when it's really bitter cold, someone will ask this question, "cold enough for ya?!"

I never did quite get it. I mean, I've NEVER said "it's not cold enough for me, I wish it would get colder, so I can feel comfortable!"

In fact, I've never heard ANYONE say that!

I know my friend Terri enjoys the winter season, but I never even heard her say, "it's not cold enough!?

She can correct me if I'm wrong.

I know, Terri is misspelled, above↑, but It's FUNNY!

How do you answer that question, anyway?

Cold enough for ya...

1. Yes. It's just cold enough for me to start complaining about the weather.

2. No. I like it when it's too cold to survive walking to the $1.25 store, which used to be the Dollar Store. Stupid inflation!

3. Yes. It's finally cold enough to create the Balls Of Awesomeness, that the Greg and Dan radio show encourages us to make. (Fill a balloon with colored water and set it out in the frigid weather until it freezes, then remove the balloon.)

4. No. I need the ponds to freeze to about 6 inches thick, so I can train for Olympic ice dancing.

Usually, when someone asks, "cold enough for ya," I say, "yeah, it sure is!," but I think about all the other things I'd like to say.

By the way, IS it cold enough for ya?

Let's Talk About YOU Not me!

I think I spend too much tom talking about ME, on this blog! Who's Tom?

Maybe that's why I get so few comments.

I need to ask YOU about YOUR life, your struggles, misfortune, pain and suffering, like Ed Johnson did!

Ed Johnson was a sweet man from our church, who recently passed away.

He was deeply loved because he ALWAYS put others ahead of himself. With all sincerity he would ask, "how are you doing, how are your kids, are you feeling better since being sick, I'm praying for you!"

So I think I should emulate him more to become a bit more lovable and empathetic.
