A Poem About A Lot Of Stuff
My viewership is down,
I think it's run aground,
Just like the ship Titanic,
Is this the time to panic?
My Maness Music Fun Page,
Used to be the rage,
At 19 views I'd grin,
Now it's only 10!
At times my views were 30,
When my thumbnail pic was pretty,
When I wrote about my wife,
People love the stuff that's nice.
When I upload vids on YouTube,
I feel just like a big boob,
When the views are only 20,
I don't think that's funny!
I have a thousand views and more,
On some vids I've done before,
What's happened to my fan base,
I'm just a dumb disgrace!
1400 some odd views!
I wrote a song and posted,
It is real cool, I boasted,
On Facebook just last night,
I didn't get one "like."
I know a "like" will come,
Even though I am a bum,
From my bestest friend named Rosie,
And I'll feel warm and cozy.
I used to be a-sizzlin',
But now my blog is fizzlin',
Should I change my style,
For just a little while?
"Getting Close To You," my song,
I thought could not go wrong,
I got nice words from Manolis,
But not a word from "Kiss."
That gives me an idear,
I'll paint my face and rear,
And do a video in the raw,
Or is that against the law?
Some other things I want to say,
I mowed the lawn of weeds today,
The grass is brown and mostly dead,
As for the weeds, full speed ahead!
I wish I had recording gear,
So I could make my songs sound clear,
Like Manolis, Daveman, and Sara,
Instead, I sound like Yogi Berra!
My voice is scratchy, my piano cheap,
A microphone would help a heap,
To make me sound just like Coldplay,
But that is for another day.
I'd like to wake up fit and fired,
But why do I feel worn and tired,
I take my pills so faithfully,
I swallow up to 23!
Thanks for taking time to hear,
My complaints, you are a dear,
It's time for bed, and I am yawning,
It's always better in the morning!

I really wonder is its the summer? You already know how I love these blogs. I wake & look forward to your special talents that God gave you & it makes me smile to know that you are here. You always have a song or a story to tell. Those folks don't know what they are missing!!!! Maybe the view counter is messed up??? I wish I could do something.... Yesterday I woke to find our cable wire was cut & I was frantic. I said, "My friend!" Danny will wonder where I am. My friend Megan may need to talk. What if Danny has a blog with a picture of Chris Martian??? Or a special message for me as you do so often. What if you had written a new song??? Or sang an oldie but goodie?? I didn't know how long it would take to get the wire fixed because it happened at the BIG Main office. A giant fiber optic cable was cut. Uhhhhhhhh! When I called they said it would be days. Thing is if I look at anything, not in the mood for social media,this blog is where I come. :) My dear you are far from a bum!!!! Your my best friend & Id give you a big fat kiss to cheer u up. Whooooo hooooooo.
My phone would not even get enough strength way out here in the boonies to get a message to you dear friend so I could tell u My cable was down. Then it got fixed. How did your cable wire get cut, Yellow Rose? Was it an accident? I was hoping it wasn't a family emergency. You've had enough of those!
DeleteI really do believe what you said is true. People are doing more outside things in the summer, and not on their computers as much.
I just need to unload my frustrations and fears from tom to tom, but you are a much better to talk to than Tom, and his brother Tom...and a lot prettier!

The cable wire was actually cut by accident at the main office. They didnt say how though. I am so glad God did give us a gift & that was each other. I needed u too.
