I have never heard Justin Hayward explain the meaning of Tuesday Afternoon, but I think the amazing song that he wrote, is telling us to find the beauty in every single day...every single moment.
Tuesday is a perfect example of a plain old day.

Normally, nothing exciting or special happens on Tuesday. Especially on a sleepy Tuesday afternoon!
I believe the song is saying we can transform a dull, ordinary, Tuesday afternoon, in to a wonderful, delightful experience.

Doing dishes,

Washing the car,
Washing the house,
Taking the hose,
And spraying your spouse.
(I love doing that!)
Walking the dog,
That pup is a cutie,
Whistling a tune,
While picking up doodie.
Tuesday afternoon nap,
If you are retired,
I love it so much,
I think it's required!
Watching the grandchildren,
Dancing away,
Giving thanks to the Lord,
Yeah, it's only a Tuesday,
But it's kinda nice,
This is the first day,
Of the rest of my life!
