OUT OF THIS WORLD WEDNESDAY

Here is the day we've been waiting for with eager anticipation!

Gary has successfully completed 4 of the 5 tests he has been given, with the loving help of Yellow Rose...which is perfectly within the ancient rules.

Let's review the tests, shall we?

1. Riding a pink bike across the Gland Canyon on a tightrope.
2. Outsmarting Glirkzilla so Gary could pass by him in one piece.
3. Surviving the Swamp Of Death.
4. Scooping pink elephant poop in the allotted time.

HOWEVER, the 5th and final test would be the most difficult of all!

It would test his strength...mind...and HEART!

Gary is transported to the uniquely strange mountains of the planet Glirka.

They resemble "Devo" hats...remember? Upside down flower pots?

As he comes closer he hears what sounds like singing.

It's the voice of Yellow Rose, helper and comforter of all Glirkazoids in need.

As he raises his two long stemmed eyes up to where the sound is coming from on the mountain, Gary sees the most horrible, unimaginable sight he has ever seen!

Yellow Rose is stuck in the web of the nasty, vicious, venomous, Gliderspider!!

Her powers are not able to work while entrapped in the negatively charged fibers of the web, SO GARY IS ON HIS OWN!!!

Gary is astounded that Yellow Rose is singing, even though she is facing imminent death!

Then he begins to understand the words and melody. She is singing the Sweet Yellow Rose song to give him strength and courage!

Gary begins to feel more confidence, energy, stamina, fearlessness, power, intelligence...and most important of all...LOVE for Yellow Rose, than he has ever felt before!

He suddenly remembers a song his daddy taught him when he was a little baby...sung to the tune of The Itsy Bitsy Spider:

♪♪ Don't fear the Gliderspider, oh, don't you scream and shout,♫
♪Just climb on the web and punch him in the snout,♪
♫After you've punched that spider in the nose, ♪♪
♪He'll leave you alone and release Yellow Rose! ♫♪

A very prophetic song!

Gary also recalls that if a Glirkazoid rubs the juice of glirkaberries all over his little body, he will not stick to the web!

A glirkaberry bush is nearby, so Gary smears the juice of the berries all over his body, hands, feet, and...everything!

As swiftly and quietly as possible, Gary begins climbing up the mountain, and then climbs up the web...closer...closer...closer...until he is right behind the hideous, terrifying, Gliderspider!

He taps the spider on the shoulder...uh...I don't think spiders have shoulders, but he taps him somewhere.

At that, the gliderspider turns around, and Gary gives him a hard punch in the snout!

All of a sudden, the spider releases Yellow Rose! Then Gary and Yellow Rose begin to slide down to the ground on a strand of spider web!

Now, safe from harm, Gary and Yellow Rose stare into each others eyes.

Yellow Rose can feel emotions for Gary that she's never felt before.

Gary comes in closer, puts his arms around her...and...brushes some spider webs off her back.

Gary says, "Now, isn't that better, Yellow Rose?"

Yellow Rose simply sighs.

Well, well, well...Gary has completed all 5 tests and has won the honor of entering the gold, diamond, and emerald encrusted Chamber of the Supreme Glirkheads!

What do they want from Gary?

Is it a secret mission?

Will Yellow Rose accompany him there?

Is Gary gay, or just stupid?

Join us next week for the grand finale!!!!

  2. You are just like my little granddaughters, Yellow Rose, who can't wait for the next story! That is too cute! FYI, Gary is really, really super shy, and afraid of rejection! The poor little sap!
