Than Waxing My Back!

Good time Charlie, 

Old but gnarly,

Seasoned citizen,

Do you pity him?

Memory fading,

Means less hating,

Bitter feelings,

They're all healing.

Past rejections,

Lost elections,

Big corrections,

Wrong directions?

All forgotten,

Like banana rotten,

And the woe begotten,

We're in high cotton.

Aged but witty,

Born in the city,

Not too pretty,

But plenty gritty.

Sense of humor,

Baby boomer,

Not a rumor,
