I Try And Try And Try

Well, folks...as much as I try, it seems that the readership of my blog continues to ebb. 

Ebb - gradually lessen or reduce. "my enthusiasm was ebbing away" Synonyms: diminish, dwindle,wane, fade away, melt away, peter out, decline, die away, die down, let up, decrease, weaken, dissolve, disappear, come to an end.

I have to admit that it's been a fun ride...at least for me.

It seems like it was just last week that I did my blog about Elvis and had over 50 folks respond to it, but yesterday my Out Of This World Wednesday contribution fell flat, with only 15 suckers of the faithful perusing my piece...and Out Of This World Wednesday used to be so popular in the olden days!

I can make all the excuses I want, like you guys are getting your kids ready for school, but most of you are way too old to have kids still going to school!

I could say that you have "Trump Syndrome, " and you can't think of anything else but destroying "the chosen one!"

I could blame myself for writing a stinky blog, but you know THAT ain't gonna happen! 

Maybe you can remember when Roy and Dale sang this lonesome tune, so many moons ago...

It kinda describes how an old cowboy like me feels when he's had his last rodeo, ready for the scrap heap, over the hill, headin' for the last round up, which reminds me of another song...

Yeah, maybe I just can't cut the mustard anymore, which reminds me of another song...

So is this my last farewell, my swan song, arrivederci, sayonara? 

Heck no!! I would not give my sworn enemies the satisfaction of watching me "bite the dust" pardners!!!

I'm here for the LONG haul, and will be the last dude to shut off the lights!!!
