MADDY

https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/rjp3/miracles-for-maddy-moo

Maddy is a little boy from our church who has been fighting cancer.
BREANNA

Our granddaughter Breanna has cystic fibrosis.

God loves these children more than we can imagine, so we need to trust that he will do whatever is best for their future.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matt. 19:14

Yes, God could fix these beautiful children in the blink of an eye, but he is the only one who knows the beginning and end of things, who not only HAS love, but He IS love, and knows the short term an and long term results of his actions.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

God can already see all of his children happy and healthy in heaven one day.
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. Isaiah 11.6.

The pain and suffering that we experience with sickness, and the loss of loved ones in this life, will be the tiniest of memories in our eternal heavenly home.

Some folks blame God for the pain and suffering they experience, but He is not the cause of sickness, heartache, and pain.
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—Romans 5:12

He promises that death will be no more, neither pain or suffering, and all of these things that are hurting Maddy and Breanna will pass away.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” Rev. 21:4.

I will be totally devastated if the unthinkable happens to Breanna or Maddy, but I know deep in my heart that God's ways are higher than our ways, and the tribulations we all face here on earth are only temporary, when compared to everlasting joy in heaven.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
– Isaiah 55:9

Satan challenged God in regards to Job. He said the only reason Job worshipped him was because of what God gave him. Take all of these things away and he will curse you to your very face!
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” Job. 1:8-11.

Job remained faithful when EVERYTHING was taken from him, and showed true, unconditional love for God in spite of losing his wealth, family, friends, and enduring physical pain and sickness!

What ever we lose in this short life will be replaced by God in abundance in the future, just as he did with Job.

So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had also seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren." Job 42:13-15

It is easy to blame God when things go terribly

wrong, but remember who gave us life, joy, babies,

love, and was so tender, compassionate and wise,

when he walked among us.

We pray for Breanna and Maddy without ceasing,

that God heals them and brings them to perfect

health, and we have faith that no matter what our

Lord does , His love never fails.

He will make all things wonderful in time!

TRUST IN GOD IF YOU GOT TIME

I'm too impatient to wait on God,
He works way too slow, you see,
I want what I ask for right away,
After I pray upon one knee!

Just like at McDonald's,
Don't make me have to wait,
For everything I've ordered,
You're gonna make me late!

Come on, God, do a miracle,
I want it done by 9,
I'm really in a hurry,
Then all will be just fine.

I trust in you, I truly do,
But you always take too long,
I want an answer yesterday,
Is that so very wrong?

I wonder why I act this way,
God has never failed me, once,
He's always showed his love in time,
Why am I such a dunce?

I love the Lord, and trust him,
I think I need to chill,
If things take longer than expected,
I guess that's just his will.

I need a lot more patience,
The Lord our trials will mend,
Just leave it in his loving hands,

JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN

I don't know what Jesus has in mind for Breanna.

She has experienced more medical problems than most of us will ever experience our whole lives!

She has shown us what it means to be brave, and even cheerful, during dark times.

We hope that a cure is found for her cystic fibrosis one day, but in the meantime she needs our help.

Those of you who have donated from the heart make us so grateful for what you've done, and it shows your love for Breanna.

Thank you!

There are 30 days left for this fundraiser. If you have the means, please send whatever you can in Bre-Bre's behalf, to keep the ball rolling.

How would you feel having your child wake up every day with mucus filling her lungs to the point you had to use a machine to loosen it up?

Giving her breathing treatments every 3 or 4 hours throughout the day, just to keep her oxygen level to a point where she can still breathe?

Could you handle the costs of her over 20 different medicines a day, doctor or hospital visits every week, and fighting the insurance companies who are unwilling to pay for Breanna's increasing medical expenses ?

There are only 30 days to go for this fundraiser, and Bre-Bre needs help as soon as possible.

Please, click on the link below and donate something.

Jesus loves the little children, so I have faith that he will give Breanna what she needs through the love of others.

We do not know what his ultimate plan is for Breanna, but I'm not going to stand by and do nothing.

How about you?

OUT OF THIS WORLD WEDNESDAY WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE FUNDRAISER FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER BREANNA, REACHES IT'S GOAL.

Breanna was blessed with $4oo.oo in donations yesterday!

I want to thank Stan and Dee-Dee for their generous donation, and the others who showed their love by unselfishly contributing toward Bre-Bre's health costs!

After I sang "Oh, Holy Night" at church, on Christmas evening, Breanna was the first to come over and say, "Good job, Babaw," and when I sang with the "Praise Band" last Sunday, she met me as I walked down the steps from the stage, hugged me, and said, "Good job, Babaw," again.

That's Breanna, with her happy, positive attitude that makes everyone adore her, and admire her strength and courage.

When she is having her breathing treatments, with the plastic mask over her mouth and nose, or in the vest that shakes her to loosen the mucus in her lungs, and makes her sound like she's talking into a fan, or making another one of her endless visits to the hospital or doctor, she is generally in good spirits, and never fails to make us laugh by her witty, and thoughtful comments.

Between Breanna and her big sister Brooklin, who is autistic, we are constantly entertained and amazed by their bits of wisdom and pure honesty that their mommy, Ashley, shares with her Facebook friends to everyone's delight!

I know that the goal of $5000.00 to help Breanna get the Eflow machine and medicine may seem hard to reach, but with all of us pulling together, and with God's help, we can do it!

We don't expect everyone to donate a large amount, as people have already done so generously, but whatever your heart suggests, according to your resources.

God bless all of you for showing your sweet love and compassion for little Breanna!

Matt, Ashley, and everyone with a connection to Bre-Bre is eternally thankful!

The Heeren family needs us to unite to raise money to

help Breanna with her battle against Cystic Fibrosis.

Please show your support!

Ever since Breanna was 2 months old she has been in and out of the hospital. It wasn't until she was 9 months old that they made one diagnosis of Chiari Malformation and hydrocephalus. In June 2008, she had her first brain surgery for a VP shunt. However, there was not much improvement in her health a month later and then within that month she was diagnosed with Bilateral Kidney Reflux in which that was corrected in 2011. In August of 2008, she had a g-tube inserted into her abdomen to help her gain weight. A few weeks from that procedure, she came down with a bacterial infection called "pseudomonas"which was found in her urine. This prompted another hospital stay in which doctors confirmed her having Cystic Fibrosis, which is a life threatening terminal illness that destroys the lungs and digestive system. In October 2008, she had her second brain surgery. She has spent years in physical and occupational therapy to help with the affects of the brain abnormalities. Last year she was also diagnosed with severe asthma compromising her lungs even more. Her greatest battles in the last few years is her ability to fight to breathe due to the deterioration of her lung function. This past year alone she has spent approximately 60 days inpatient at the Children's Hospital of Illinois in which her hospitalizations are occurring about every 3 months. She is currently on a regimen of medications that requires about 20 pills a day, 4 breathing nebulizer treatments every 3-4 hours, vest therapy and antibiotics to prevent infection. Recently they have found out that all of this treatment is no longer substantially working enough therefore requiring another heavy treatment plan of a med called, "Cayston" and it's machine called, "Eflow". However, even though she needs this machine to stay alive, their insurance is fighting them on some of these meds because two of them combined are $15,000 a month. And along with all of Breanna's medical issues, her older sister Brooklin was diagnosed as being autistic, asthmatic and has an endocrine disorder.
Here he goes again. Danny is asking for money to save his granddaughters life.
Hell yes, I am! I would do ANYTHING to save ANY of my granddaughters.
I would sacrifice my own life to save one of them, so I will never let my own pride prevent me from "BEGGING" for a donation for Breanna.
How many of us could come up with over $15,000 a month just for medicine?
We all know how the insurance companies are fighting every claim we make, so how accepting do you think they are of these massive expenses?
If you can click on the link I've provided and NOT have it in your heart to donate a few bucks for Breanna, then God bless you, and peace be with you.
When you click on the link, it makes it easy to make a donation.
The "Eflow" machine Breanna needs is very expensive, the medicine is expensive...but together...as a large family...with the love of Christ in our hearts...we can keep Breanna breathing!
It's not the time for words, it's time for 5 dollars..10 dollars...
I'm sure some of you have sent a donation for her in the past, maybe some of you are angry with me for asking for help again...I don't care...what would you do?
This can only work as a group effort, and with God's help.
Here is the link again:
All of you that know me, know how hard this is for me to beg, but please, in the name of God, help Breanna with a donation!
Examine your heart and listen to what it tells you, this is not some abstract charity on TV where 90% of the donations go to administrative costs.
This is personal, this is for real, this is to keep a six year old girl breathing.
Sincerely,
Danny

MANESS MUSIC MONDAY

Let's turn back the "Wayback Machine" to a tune I wrote many, many moons ago...so many moons ago that I can't hardly count all the moons!

Tunes and moons go together like forks and spoons...don't you think?

The point of the song is not to judge folks, because we have no idea what another person has been through, even though we THINK we know.

This includes close family members and friends. I just learned a very close family member suffers from a serious disease, and she never let on.

Mental and physical maladies are not often easily discerned by even the closest of family and friends, so if a loved one is irritable, cranky, or wants to be left alone, we can assume they have a hidden physical problem, some fear, worry, or constipation!

I know constipation makes me cranky, fer sure!

So, for a change, watch my video, and see if YOU are not judging people too harshly!

Me? I'm kind of like the Apostle Paul, when he said ...  Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 1 Tim. 1:15

NOW WHAT?

I am extremely joyful and ex-static that my great friend Yellow Rose commented on my blog yesterday!

What a wonderful soul she is! God bless her pea pickin' heart!

Now, I'm not telling you this to make whomever didn't comment feel GUILTY, because I understand how difficult it is to comment on nonsensical stuff like mine, unless you are totally tuned in to the universal matrix, like Yellow Rose!

I don't think controversial issues worked that well for getting THOUSANDS of comments yesterday, since I only had one.

So, I have another brilliant idea to get comments from y'all!

You tell me what you'd be willing to comment about, and I'll write about it, and then it will be much easier for you to put in your 2 cents worth!

Unfortunately, you have to make a comment to let me know what your willing to comment on!

Kind of a Catch 22, ain't it?

Okay, I've got it!

I'll give you a multiple choice of topics, and you just need to send me the corresponding number of the topic you're willing to comment about!

Here goes:
1. Potato chips with faces.

2. Favorite place to go, White Castle or Liverpool.

3. Lionel Richie

4. Lionel Barrymore

5. Quantitative Easing

6. Uvula Facts

7. Bait

8. Wax Lips

9. Zasu Pitts

10. You.

So let's review...if you want me to talk about "wax lips" so you can comment...what number will you post?

Noooo! Not 9! 9 is Zasu Pitts, and NOBODY wants to talk about Zasu Pitts!

8! Wax lips is 8!

Let's try again. What if you feel like discussing Quantitative Easing with me,what number are you gonna post?

That's correct! 5! Hallelujah, I think you've got it!

Now, Yellow Rose need not post a number since she already knows all the hidden secrets of how to post comments on my mysteriously hard to comment on, blog.

Now, stand back and watch the numbers roll in to my comments box!

This is excitin'!
