Enjoy The FAKE Spring!

Ahhhh! Yesterday I saw my first robin of spring! Maybe it was a big sparrow with a chapped chest from the gale force winds!

A song I wrote for the iconic Greg and Dan radio show!

I also saw some crocus flowers springing up! I THINK they were crocus flowers. Here is what they looked like, so you flower children can tell me via the comments section↧

Chevy, our Chorkie dog, loves the nice weather, and wants to sniff and pee on EVERYTHING!!

This video and accompanying song illustrates my worms above!

Worms?

Cerealy, I know that most of y'all don't have tom to watch my videos that I strategically place on my blog, so why not find Tom and have him watch my boring videos for ya!!

Maybe even Jerry will watch them as well!

Then they can explain why it's so impotent to watch them, to get a real grasp of my cerebrally taxing blog!

im·po·tent
/ˈimpətnt/
adjective
  1. 1.
unable to take effective action; helpless or powerless.
    Similar:
    powerless
    ineffective
    ineffectual
    inadequate
    weak
    useless

As I was walking Chevy (AKA Tasmanian Devil) a man on the other side of the street exclaimed, "Spring in the air!"

I tried it and almost broke my back! (Joke stolen from Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show, circa 1972)

Oft times we get so busy with the mundane activities of lice, and never stop to smell the rovers! I'm sure the rovers are gonna smell us!

All seriousness aside, as long as this "FAKE SPRING" lasts, we need to take advantage of the FAKE temperatures, FAKE flowers popping up from the earth, FAKE robins, FAKE sunny days, and not even imaginate the deadly winter storms yet to come in the midvest of America!

Out Of This World Wednesday
Episode IV
Checklists Suck Solar Wind!

Having completed the all important, pre-flight checklist, our intrepid Glirkazoid gadabouts recline in their comfy flight chairs, located on the flight deck of the Silver Sausage spazeship.

Rosie - "Ready to go over the check list, Admiral?"

Gary - "What do you mean, Admiral Rosie? We ALREADY went over the checklist!!"

Rosie - "No, no. That was the supply checklist. Now we need to go over the Silver Sausage spazeship checklist!"

Gary - "Oh, brother. Very well. Proceed with the SSSC."

Rosie - "Don't mind if I do! Okay! Steering device?"

Gary - (moves the steering device back and forth) "Steering."

Rosie - "You're supposed to say CHECK, Gary! Follow ancient protocol, wouldya? Continuing on...front beams?"

Gary - "Beamin'!"

Rosie - "Why are you being so insubordinate, buddy?"

Gary - "How can I be insubordinate when we're both
Admirals?

Rosie - "On page 2020 of the Spaze Travel Rule Book,
section 5, subsection a-2, it states, when Glirkazoids
of the same rank give orders to each other, they MUST
obey the orders of each other as if they were being
ordered by a superiorly ranked Glirkazoid."

Gary - "I'm not taking your worm for it, Rosie!
Show me from the book!"

Rosie - "I'm offended, Gary! You don't trust me?!"

Gary - "Show me the book!"

Rosie - "Well, er, um, I forgot to include the Spaze
Travel Rule Book  on the check list, and it's still at my
place of dwelling."

Rosie's humble abode

Gary - "Do tell. What I think is, you are making all
this..."

Suddenly, a message comes in from the
 Glirkazoid High Command!!

"You guys can dispense with your convoluted
checklist, and get your Glirkazoid glutes
into spaze, before Krug the Kruddy takes over the whole
cockadodie universe!!

Rosie - "You didn't know that? As highly
ranked, top secret agents of the
Glirkazoidian "spaze force," we are constantly
monitored 124/70!" (akin to 24/7 on Earth)

Gary - "I wish you would have told me, Rosie!
There are things you and I have done, that I would
have preferred remained secret!"

Rosie - "Like WHAT?"

Gary - "Like when we ate a whole gallon of
Isotopian Ice Cream, did a marathon
watching of Game Of Glirkazitts, made a wild
Merkronium muskrat our mascot, until he/she
ate our guidance system..."

Merkronium muskrat...ain't he/she cute?!

High Command - "SHUT UP, Gary!! If you don't
have the Silver Saugage at W.A.R.P speed
(W.A.R.P. means we are really phast) in
5 seconds, we'll emulsificate your butts!"

Oh my! Will Gary and Rosie be emulsificated
next Wednesday? Say it ain't so!

Accentuate The Positive

Positively listen to this video as you read my positive blog story!

Blogging is my way of self therapy. I'm able to free myself of burdensome, negative thoughts and give them to you guys n gals. In addition, I don't have to pay money for a "shrink!" How cool is dat?!

On the other hand, I try to be as positive as possible, in spite of the miserable condition the world has sunken down to in this 21st century.

What a profound, sensitive image! Who says I'm shallow? Who else?!

On this Mar. 3, 2020, I'm gonna list POSITIVE things we can point to when our friends try and load negative crap on us.

1. We can do 99.9 % of things from our recliner! We really don't need to leave our dwellings if we don't wanna. Our whole life can be managed from our "smart" phones! Robots, drones and UPS dudes release us from the traumatic experience of leaving our abode. Atrophy is okay, folks!

Muscle atrophy. Muscle atrophy is when muscles waste away. It's usually caused by a lack of physical activity. When a disease or injury makes it difficult or impossible for you to move an arm or leg, the lack of mobility can result in muscle wasting.

2. We have our "babies" to enjoy! It doesn't matter if our "babies" are dogs...cats...emus...or pythons...our "babies" love us unconditionally and NEVER correct us when we make mistakes, like our children and grandchildren will often do.

Disclaimer: The creator of this blog is not insinuating that we don't LOVE our REAL babies, but simply stating the fact that our fur babies (or scaly babies) never sass us, or point out our shortcomings, unless they do, and we don't understand animal language.

Okay! Now shut off the other video and watch this! It's totally AWESOME!!!

3. We have a million TV program choices that we could only DREAM of back in 1955! I'm not gonna go reliving the bad old days, when we only had 3 channels, but it was a bit frustrating to choose between plate spinning on one channel, Liberace on another channel, and Kukla Fran and Ollie on another.

Another thing is how TV shows EVERYTHING now, and allows EVERY curse word ever invented, where in 1955 a skirt above the knee was not allowed, and even "darn it" was frowned upon!  (Maybe that's not really a positive, so disregard the last sentence)

Maybe YOU can supply us with more positives, on this 3/3/2020? Oh, I hope so! That would be a positive in itself!

I need to be more positive! I'm POSITIVE that, at least, one of my beloved readers will leave a positive remark!
