Please Stop And Think Of What Could Have Been...Without Our Heroes!

I don't do a serious blog, but there are times when I need to share my real feelings on how God has blessed us in America.

Imagine how terrifying it would have been to see Hitler's tanks rolling down the streets of America after our losing World War Two.

Japanese planes flying overhead in triumph.

Not knowing if we were soon to be executed, or placed in concentration camps.

Maybe, if we survived, being enslaved by cruel "masters" who could torture or kill us at at their whim.

I am totally convinced that Hitler would have treated us no better than the 6 million Jews he exterminated!

If not exterminated, we would have seen our American culture, language, religious freedom, and history completely eliminated!

All of these things, I truly believe,  are a very accurate picture of what might have been, if not for the self sacrificing Americans who gave their precious lives to keep us free!

To take this even further back, would slavery had ended without the ultimate sacrifice of the Union soldiers, who put the freedom of a persecuted minority ahead of their own lives?

On Memorial Day we take time to thank these men and women for not only fighting for our liberty, but giving EVERYTHING to preserve our freedom!

Stop and think about what our lives would be like without their unbelievably loving sacrifice, and thank God for this "greatest generation" of people who never failed in their mission, even to the point of sacrificing themselves for all of us!

What Is The Main
Porpoise Of This Blog?

Oft times I forget the main porpoise of Bloggadocious 222 , my daily blog.

Well, it's daily, except for the weekends, when I take a break from serving you lovable little blog readers.

Anywho, the MAIN porpoise of my blog is to take you away from the stresses, struggles and sadness of this old life we're living, and take you to a destination of happiness, relief and soothing relaxation.

It's a tough gig, but somebody's got to do it!

Everyone should start their day with a song, like Snow White.

Remember when she would sing and all of the forest animules and birds would gather around inside the cottage to sing and chirp along...

Watch this and you won't need any additional
mind altering substances to cheer you up today!

I kinda feel like Snow White as I walk down the street and talk to the squirrels, rabbits, birds, dogs, cats, ants, butterflies and anything that moves.

It doesn't matter that these creatures run from me , or the squirrels chatter at me, and the birds dive bomb me. I still feel like Snow White by just being around God's creations, and having conversations with them!

It goes without saying that the neighbors keep their distance from me, as I talk to the animules...

It's all good, because I'm a "character," and doesn't every neighborhood need a "character?" Sure they do!!

What would folks talk about if they didn't have a "character," to uh...talk about?

Here are a few characters in movie history you may remember...

Jack Elam

Strother Martin

Mary Wickes

Bruce Dern

Peggy from Latvia

The "thing" I don't wanna be is the same as everybody else, mundane, predictable, run of the mill, and ESPECIALLY BORESVILLE!

I had teachers who were extremely BORESVILLE and it was so hard to pay attention to them!

If you ever find this blog as boresville as Ferris Bueller's economics teacher (AKA Ben Stein), don't tell me, please! That would be soooo depressing!

Joy, soothing relaxation, Calgon, laughter, frolicking, petting a puppy, and all of the delightful, pleasing thangs in our brief existence, are embodied in my simple blog. Ain't it grand?!!

So continue to partake of the my daily delirious dose of delightful drivel!  THANKS!!!!!

HEAVEN DOWN THE ROAD

Hi! I wrote this song yesterday. I was not meaning to write this particular song, but it came to me unexpectedly.

Thanks for listening!

One Of My Biggest Success Stories!!

One of my biggest success stories is when the Greg And Dan radio show, played my original composition, entitled The A.D.D. Wednesday Song...and it sounded something like this...

They have played many other songs I've written, but I'm much too modest to list them all, I'm not a "classic narcissist,"after all!

On the other hand, I'm sure you're wildly curious as to what the other ones are, so...

This is just scratching the surface, brothers and sisters!

The Groundhog's Album... Scratching The Surface

I hope you took tom to listen to each and every one of them!

Even if you couldn't find Tom, I hope you listened anyway!!

Arrivabirdie!

Mosquitoes, My Pillow, Chevy Dog

I guess most of you were watching Game Of Thrones instead of American Idol on Sunday, because I didn't receive any comments on the American Idol winner, or losers yesterday, except for my wonderful wife who loves me to pieces! Thank God!!

Since that's all past history, we need to dwell on more important issues that infiltrate our cerebral cortices on a daily basis, making us mad (in a British, crazy way), mad, MAD!!!

Why do mosquitoes only bite me?!!

All my entire, stinkin' life, whilst everyone else is enjoying the picnic, I have been plagued with thousands of mosquitoes viciously biting me to the point of madness!! (In a British sort of way)

Of course, I always forget the mosquito repellent, which makes me MAD! (In an American way)

I wish I could, either, find out why I get eaten by mosquitoes, or that everybody would get eaten by mosquitoes, so I wouldn't feel like such an oddball!

Is there no way to get the My Pillow guy off of our TVs! Come on! Enough is enough! We already know the ads by heart, and if we ain't bought a pillow by now, we NEVER will!

Which reminds me of a joke my dad used to tell..."Last night I dreamed I was eating marshmallows, when I woke up my pillow was gone!"

At 4 years old, I thought this was high comedy! You see, we didn't have videos, a thousand TV shows, and the internet back in 1954.

Dave Ramsey bugs me to no end! You know, the money guy? He has made billions of pazoozas by using the age old advice our ancestors taught us. "Save your money, don't spend it on things you don't need!" That's basically it.

I had relatives, many moons ago, who did exactly what Dave Ramsey teaches today. They saved money to the point of NEVER going out to eat, or to the movies, or helping a family member in need, or...basically, they were no fun!

On the other hand, the family I grew up in, did fun stuff, spent our last dime on going to the movies, or swimming, or helping our neighbors....and although we never had much in savings, we had wonderful experiences and joy saved up in our hearts!

I think I got a bit too "preachy" back there, so don't pay any attention to me, like always. Tee hee!

I could go on and on about Ramsey, repetitive commercials, folks that don't pet my dog when we walk past them...

What's up wit dat, hmm? Chevy is such a cute little Chorkie dog, so most everyone is compelled to pet him, and talk to him when we're out for a walk.

Chevy and I both cannot understand when people just ignore him, don't even look at him, and some even tell him to GET AWAY!!

I just think that maybe they had a bad experience with a dog, or they are just HATEFUL, CREEPY PEOPLE!!

It's hurts Chevy's feelings, because his whole purpose in life is to bring happiness to the world, and he feels like he failed in those few instances.

No matter. We never let the negative Nellies dictate our attitude! Even when it comes to folks who don't make comments on this blog. We know you have your reasons for ignoring my witty questions, and leaving my questionnaires blank, but I don't wanna hear "em!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Madison Vandenburg LOST American Idol? I'm Either Losing My Touch Or The World's Gone Mad!

When I think there is nothing that can shock and surprise me anymore, I watch a T.V. event that makes me question my own ability to predict the outcome of said event.

No, it's not "Game Of Thrones." I'm talkin' about "American Idol!"

All along I just KNEW Madison Vandenburg would be the winner! She's cute, only 17, smiley, and has a voice as good as anyone who's ever performed on the show!

Alejandro and Laine had mediocre voices and even though Alejandro wrote his own songs, he wasn't nearly as cute as Madison.

Laine may have been as cute as Madison, to young girls, but he was not 17, and he has a voice with limited range and scope. (I don't know what scope means, but I wanted to sound like I know what I'm talking about) (no, not the mouthwash!)

I used to be almost 100% accurate in predicting the outcomes of talent shows, like the Ted Mack Amateur  Hour, beauty pageants, hog calling contests, and anything that required very little knowledge, and a lot of chutzpah!

chutz·pah
/ˈho͝otspÉ™,ˈKHo͝otspÉ™/
noun
INFORMAL
  1. shameless audacity; impudence.
"love him or hate him, you have to admire Danny's chutzpah"

Anyway, I'm either losing my "touch," or America is losing it's mind by NOT choosing Miss Madison Vanderhoot as the American Idol!

Donna wanted Laine to win, because she said he "looks like an American Idol!"

Looks like an American Idol? LOOKS like an American Idol?  What?

Do you think I picked Carrie Underwood because she LOOKS like an American Idol? Well, maybe, but she also has a great voice...I think.

Who was your pick?

You were watching Game Of Thrones?

Don't you wish you didn't?

Even if you didn't watch American Idol, who do you like best from these brief clips...

Madison, RIGHT? I knew you'd agree with me! Right? Right?
