People Are NICE, REALLY!!!

I truly believe that most people around the whole wide world are nice.

For example, when I hitchhiked across America (circa 1971), I had no money, whatsoever, and still accomplished my trip through Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri, through the amazing kindness of ordinary folks.

"Of course you did," you say, so sarcastically. Times were gentler. Peace and love permeated the hippy atmosphere, circa 1971.

Okay. Let's bring it on down to 2021. Every time I walk Chevy-dog, the vast majority of my neighbors are eager to pet Chevy, share local gossip, stop their vehicles so we can cross the streets, and never act rude and nasty.

Only about 1% ignore us completely, which totally blows our minds, because Chevy thinks EVERYONE should pet him, and looks up at me, like, "what gives, dad?"

With all these facts in your brain, don't you think peoples EVERYWHERE, are similarly nice?

I think so.

Their leaders might be nasty wasty and cruel, but the common folk are pretty nice, like here in the USA.

I have really cool YouTube friends from Greece, France, England, Scotland, the 4 corners of the world, even CALIFORNIA, and they are all very sweet souls.

In addition, when I watch videos of total strangers from across the globe, they too seem like good people.

So why the wars and hate and violence?

I believe it's because a tiny minority of mean men, and women (don't wanna discriminate against gals), convince nice people to follow them into paths of darkness, paved by the devil himself!!

On the other hand, I may be completely off base, which would be nothing new.

All I know is the vast majority of individuals are basically nice, and that is happifying to me!

Out Of This World Wednesday       Body Regeneration Utilization!!

Examples of ancient body regeneration/shapeshifting.

Immediately after defeating the commander of the Z70 warship/garbage scow, John Filthy McNasty, our Glirkazoid Gladiators, namely, Rosie and Gary, begin approaching the surface of planet Z70, amidst heavy laser cannon blasts from the litterbug inhabitants who don't wanna change their pollutin' ways!

That was kinda a run on sentence, but I'm sure you fateful readers will decipher my mess! Fateful? I mean faithful!!

fate·ful
/ˈfātfəl/
adjective
  1. having far-reaching and often disastrous consequences or implications.
    "a fateful oversight"

Gary - "Durned the laser cannon blasts and full speed ahead, Rosie! We've got to hover about 222 fectors above the planet's terra firma and regenerate the populace into super-goats, who will totally devour every vestige of filthy garbage, litter, and deadly, dreaded diseases that has threatened the existence of the Z70ites for centuries!"
Silver Sausage in hovering mode.

Rosie - "Initiating BRS, Admiral!" (AKA Body Regeneration System)

Gary - "When I nod my head, HIT IT!"

Gary nods his head and Rosie hits it with a handy spaze plunger!

Gary - "What are you doing, girl? This is no time for The 3 Stooges classic bits!"

Rosie - "Sorrrry...I couldn't resist."

Gary - "NOW...hit the body regeneration button (AKA BRB) and start showering the Z70ites with the goat regeneration ray!" (AKA GRS)

5G means super-goat regeneration to the power of 5.

As the GRS begins to transform the messy multitude of litterbugs into super-goats, the creatures still resist, by cursing and throwing rocks at the Silver Sausage Spazeship, until they can't, due to the fact they instantly form hooves and can only baaaaa!"

Gary - "Rosie! Take a gander at this! The Z70ers are eating all the litter in sight, at a phenomenal rate!!"

Rosie - "Yeah! WOW! It reminds me of your relatives at an all you can eat buffet!! By the way, it's Z70ites, not ers.

Gary - "What's the diff? The main thang is that our plan is working, and soon the amazingly cluttered planet of Z70 will be free of filthiness!"

Rosie - "Rightio, Gary! It should take them about 10,000 yartrips to consume this mess, so let's come back when they're done, to change 'em back to what they were."
What they were.

Gary - "Okay! Where do you want to go in the meantime? We certainly don't want to travel all the way back to Glirka, and then all the way back here and waste precious fozzle fuel."

Rosie - "Since it will only be 10,000 yartrips, let's go to that popular, nearby vacation resort, Zquteozitsimuamua, until Z70 is cleaned up. It will be FUN!"

Fun, hmm? Gary has heard that word before, and discovered that fun isn't always as fun as it purports to be.

Should they go to Zquteozitsimuamua for 10,000 yartrips, or simply stay within the 97% safety of the Silver Sausage Spazeship until their life changing mission is completed?

Transparent Tuesday Talk Today!

In case you never noticed, Tuesday is traditionally touted as a day for honesty, truth telling, transparency and getting it "straight from the horses mouth!"

This expression first became popular around the 1920s. It comes from the practice of examining a horse’s teeth to determine its age. This practice has given rise to other idioms and phrases that predate from the horse’s mouth.

For example, long in the tooth refers to the fact that as horses grow older, their teeth grow. Another related phrase is don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

The idea behind straight from the horse’s mouth is that you (or the source) have come directly from examining the horse to relay information about its age and condition.

I'm not a horse, but EVERYTHING you read on this blog, comes directly from my imagination, and also stems from me plagiarizing folks way smarter than I.

pla·gia·rize

/ˈplājəˌrīz/
verb
gerund or present participle: plagiarizing
  1. take (the work or an idea of someone else) and pass it off as one's own.
"he was fined $6,000 for having plagiarized the song"
    Similar:
    copy
    pass off as one's own
    infringe the copyright of
    pirate
    steal
    poach
    borrow
    appropriate
    rip off
    lift
    crib
    pinch
    nick
    • copy from (someone) and pass it off as one's own.
"the author claims she was plagiarized"

Did you notice how honest I just proved to be, by sharing the embarrassing fact that I "BORROW" a tiny bit of  info from more brilliant minds?

The photos, for instance. I will occassionally use pictures from the internet that I did not personally take, because they are supremely better than my pictures.

Here are a couple of examples of pictures that I  sketched for this blog in ancient times...

Ain't transparency refreshing? Would you use your own pictures if they were as horrific as mine? Of course not!

Since this is Transparency Tuesday, I have to admit that I NEVER liked Seinfeld.

Please, don't hate me for not liking Seinfeld. I know, I know...EVERYBODY loves Seinfeld, but I do not.

Why? You ask so inquisitively. Because I didn't think it had any soul, like The Office.

Okay, okay! Don't get on me about The Office, now!

Murphy Brown had some sharp witted humor, but it also had some deeply emotional stuff, like when Murphy hated Barry Manilow, but when he played this gorgeous song for her, she melted like butta!

Even though I know I'll get thousands of folks defending those rancid shows I despise, It's all good, because this is...

Why Worry?

It's such a waste of energy to worry about stuff.

I'm NOT saying I don't worry, but WHY do I worry, when it doesn't have any positive results.

Here is a limited list of what folks worry about, and the reasons why it's so disenfranchising to ourselves.

dis·en·fran·chise
/ˌdisənˈfran(t)SHīz/
verb
gerund or present participle: disenfranchising
  1. deprive (someone) of the right to vote.
"the law disenfranchised some 3,000 voters on the basis of a residence qualification"
    • deprive (someone) of a right or privilege.
"a measure that would disenfranchise people from access to legal advice"
    • ARCHAIC
deprive (someone) of the rights and privileges of a free inhabitant of a borough, city, or country.

Okay, maybe disenfranchising was not the correct word, but I think you guys/gals will figger out what I mean...eventually.

Worries...

1. Never reaching our potential in life, like being a super-star rock god, with a small g.

Don't worry - Odds are that NONE OF US will ever reach our full potential in life, so settle for mediocrity, like Salieri.

2. We worry about our chitlins not growing up to be the president or a senator or a business executive.

Don't worry - By the time children in 2021 are old enough to run for office or run a business, the world will have already been invaded by other worldly creatures, who will benevolently run all our stuff for us. We hope.

3. Our overall health is a constant worry for us.

No worries - No matter what we do, or how healthy we are, we are destined to be "pushin' up daisies" before we know it. Then, what does it matter, right?

4.  Why worry about what everyone thinks about us?

No matter what we say or do, SOMEONE is gonna hate it...be offended...reject it...besmirch you...

be·smirch
/bəˈsmərCH/
verb
  1. damage the reputation of (someone or something) in the opinion of others.
"he had besmirched the good name of his family"

criticize...censor...So say and do what you wanna! Like Rosanne!

By now I think you all understand how worry can hamstring our lives, if we allow the "worry wart" to control our inner psyches.

hamstring

 verb
hamstrung\ ˈham-ˌstrəŋ  \hamstringing\ ˈham-ˌstriŋ-iŋ  \

Definition of hamstring (Entry 2 of 2)
