THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY

I have over 27,000 views on my YouTube videos, but YouTube took away 14,000 views from me one day, with no explaination, so now it shows I only have 13,000 views.

My goal is 1 million views, so that makes it a bit harder to reach now, and I get a little discouraged at toms. (Not just at Tom's, but I'm discouraged at Bob's and Fred's too!)

Well, today I went to the little world map that YouTube provides on my channel, that shows the places my videos are being watched all over the world...AND IT BLEW ME AWAY!!

Mind you, some of the countries only had one or two views, but it is cool to know people are watching my silly videos, in places like Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Greece!

I know my good friend Manolis is the one watching in Greece, because he is always writing encouraging comments that are especially flattering, coming from a great musician like him!

Who, though, is watching my videos in Belarus?

I never get any comments from Belarus.

It would be cool if I did, though!

How about the "mates" that watch my videos in Australia?

The map showed that I had 6 views from Australia last month.

I'd like to know who they are, because it's so much fun making comments back and forth with my YouTube friends I've come to know and love, like Cheryl M., The Daveman, Katest 3r, Rhymesause, Gounderus and others!

Now, THIS is funny!

She commented that my song "Went To Arizona" filled her with emotion. That is what a songwriter loves to hear! When someone simply says good song, I appreciate it, but a songwriter likes knowing how the song moved them, made them happy or sad, or even made them angry!

Cheryl M. (AKA Yellow Rose) is probably the greatest example of someone who comments from the depths of her heart with joyful enthusiasm and feeling! I absolutely love that free spirit she is never afraid to display to people she loves!

That's it! I was telling you about all the diverse places around the worm where they view my videos! 

I cannot even imagine what people in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia,

Turkey, Serbia, and Malaysia think about my wacky songs, and Glirkazoid videos! The YouTube map shows I have views from these places, but I never receive comments from those far flung countries!

They are probably thinking...VILD AND CLAZY HAMERICAN!!!

 It makes me giggle when I think about a Belarusian watching this, and forming an opinion about Americans!

I hope and pray that people all over the earth are brought closer together by watching each others videos, and realizing that we are all basically the same in what we think is funny, sad, important (like family and friends), exciting, delightful, musically beautiful, and so many other things that can bring mankind (and womankind) together instead of tearing us apart!
