Maddy Moo

Going To Church In About 3o Minutes

I have to make this quick, because I will be heading out to church soon.

They will be taking up a love offering for the two families that lost their precious ones recently.

One age 4, and the other 20 years old. Way too young for both of these beautiful children.

I  am very, very thankful for the outpouring of love from friends and family for Breanna and the Heeren family!

When I realize what heartbreaking tragedies have befallen the members of our church, I thank God that Breanna is still able to go to church with us, go to school, and play, in spite of her serious illness.

God, please comfort those who lost their dear sweet ones, and may your wonderful love fill our hearts until overflowing to show love to our brothers and sisters in mourning.

Praise to your glorious name!

In Jesus name, we pray,

Amen!

GREG BATTON BIRTHDAY BOY

WMBD, man of glee,
Always been right good to me,
Voice as smooth as velvet mist,
Batton's on my top 10 list!

Greg don't need no stinking script,
He's extemporaneous...shoots from the hip,
With his sidekick...Dirty Dan,
He sends my mind to la la land!

With wacky, silly, goofy shows,
That's why his audience grows and grows,
His heart is big, my yes it is,
Gave me my first break in showbiz!

So on this birthday, I wish you well,
Mornings without you would be pure hell,
So have a happy birthday, Greg,
Give thanks you're not as old as "Peg!"

Happy Birthday ya big lug!

Well, God has proved me to be a fool once again.

Right when I told everybody I was losing faith in my fellow man, and woman, you wonderful people came out in support of Breanna.

Why am I so foolish? God has ALWAYS  answered my prayers when I needed him most, and I'm STILL lacking faith!

I was also lacking faith in my friends!

Even though I know all about their kindness, love and thoughtfulness, I questioned their willingness to help Breanna!

My dear friends, and family, please pray for me to be more patient, thankful and trusting of those who have shown such love and support for me and my family!

The one thing I never want to do is sound ungrateful to my loving family and friends, due to my being anxious and impatient about Breanna's medical needs.

Brooklin (in photo below with Breanna) is Breanna's older sister. She is beautiful, funny, and cares deeply about Breanna!

Brooklin has autism, and definitely feels the pain of others very deeply, and especially when Breanna is not doing well.

Let's face it, I don't have very much to give these precious ones, but TOGETHER, family and friends, we have already raised $1,175 dollars for Breanna's medical needs! Thank you!

There are 17 days left for Breanna's Fundraiser and God bless you for your donations, love, and prayers for our sweet granddaughter!

Click on link below to read about Breanna and donate, if your heart moves you to help!

Our deepest appreciation!

I know that God loves our granddaughter Breanna with more love than we could ever imagine.

We have been praying, and praying and praying that our friends and family would donate $5 dollars, 10 dollars, ANYTHING to raise the the $5000,00 for her medical needs, and I'm starting to believe that it must not be His will, because few hearts have been moved to donate.

That is the mystery to me.

I just don't understand how they can ignore Breanna, when this is so serious.

There have been a number of people that have given verbal support for her, but never sent even one dollar.

This doesn't make me angry as much as it makes me confused and downhearted.

I guess this is God's way of saying He has a better plan, but my faith in my fellow man is at an all time low.

Doesn't God's word say...By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35

If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? James 2:16.

Like I said, it may not be God's will that Breanna gets help through this fundraiser, but He knows we didn't give up until the end! 23 days to go!

I am beginning to wonder if no one takes me seriously because I usually write funny stuff, and my blog is called "My Life Is Only For Laughs."

I've been begging for help for my granddaughter, and 6 wonderful donations have come in from good people.

A number of folks have promised help, but the fund has not gone up one dime for four days.

I'm beginning to think there is a glitch  in the website.

Could it be that God does not want her to receive this help?

If that is his will, I'll accept it, but if God wants this, you could help make this happen, little by little, with small donations from a lot of you. Five dollars would be fine, or whatever you have in your pocket.

You can give anonymously. You don't have to give your name.

If you have donated and the donation didn't show up on the website, let us know!

In the first two days we received $550.00 and nothing after that.

If you think this is a joke, or I'm lying to you, feel free to call Breanna's mom, Ashley, at 309- 453-5464.

Believe me, begging for donations is the last thing I want to do, but I do not have the $5000,00 she needs, and I'm not giving up on her.

Please do not say you care and promise you'll help, and then not follow through.

That is very disheartening.

We do not know what God's plan is for Breanna, but wouldn't it be sad to ignore the needs of this beautiful little girl because we didn't take the time to help.

Church family? Pattonville High alum?
Friends?  Family in St. Louis? Family all over America? This is REAL folks! This is not a joke. Breanna needs us

MADDY

https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/rjp3/miracles-for-maddy-moo

Maddy is a little boy from our church who has been fighting cancer.
BREANNA

Our granddaughter Breanna has cystic fibrosis.
https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/ffq3/breanna-heeren-cystic-fibrosis-fund?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=fb_share_stream.share&utm_campaign=BA_FBshare&og_action=hug&t=3&fb_ref=1730402

God loves these children more than we can imagine, so we need to trust that he will do whatever is best for their future.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matt. 19:14

Yes, God could fix these beautiful children in the blink of an eye, but he is the only one who knows the beginning and end of things, who not only HAS love, but He IS love, and knows the short term an and long term results of his actions.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

God can already see all of his children happy and healthy in heaven one day.
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. Isaiah 11.6.

The pain and suffering that we experience with sickness, and the loss of loved ones in this life, will be the tiniest of memories in our eternal heavenly home.

Some folks blame God for the pain and suffering they experience, but He is not the cause of sickness, heartache, and pain.
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—Romans 5:12

He promises that death will be no more, neither pain or suffering, and all of these things that are hurting Maddy and Breanna will pass away.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.” Rev. 21:4.

I will be totally devastated if the unthinkable happens to Breanna or Maddy, but I know deep in my heart that God's ways are higher than our ways, and the tribulations we all face here on earth are only temporary, when compared to everlasting joy in heaven.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
– Isaiah 55:9

Satan challenged God in regards to Job. He said the only reason Job worshipped him was because of what God gave him. Take all of these things away and he will curse you to your very face!
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
“Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” Job. 1:8-11.

Job remained faithful when EVERYTHING was taken from him, and showed true, unconditional love for God in spite of losing his wealth, family, friends, and enduring physical pain and sickness!

What ever we lose in this short life will be replaced by God in abundance in the future, just as he did with Job.

So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had also seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren." Job 42:13-15

It is easy to blame God when things go terribly

wrong, but remember who gave us life, joy, babies,

love, and was so tender, compassionate and wise,

when he walked among us.

We pray for Breanna and Maddy without ceasing,

that God heals them and brings them to perfect

health, and we have faith that no matter what our

Lord does , His love never fails.

He will make all things wonderful in time!

TRUST IN GOD IF YOU GOT TIME

I'm too impatient to wait on God,
He works way too slow, you see,
I want what I ask for right away,
After I pray upon one knee!

Just like at McDonald's,
Don't make me have to wait,
For everything I've ordered,
You're gonna make me late!

Come on, God, do a miracle,
I want it done by 9,
I'm really in a hurry,
Then all will be just fine.

I trust in you, I truly do,
But you always take too long,
I want an answer yesterday,
Is that so very wrong?

I wonder why I act this way,
God has never failed me, once,
He's always showed his love in time,
Why am I such a dunce?

I love the Lord, and trust him,
I think I need to chill,
If things take longer than expected,
I guess that's just his will.

I need a lot more patience,
The Lord our trials will mend,
Just leave it in his loving hands,

JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN

I don't know what Jesus has in mind for Breanna.

She has experienced more medical problems than most of us will ever experience our whole lives!

She has shown us what it means to be brave, and even cheerful, during dark times.

We hope that a cure is found for her cystic fibrosis one day, but in the meantime she needs our help.

Those of you who have donated from the heart make us so grateful for what you've done, and it shows your love for Breanna.

Thank you!

There are 30 days left for this fundraiser. If you have the means, please send whatever you can in Bre-Bre's behalf, to keep the ball rolling.

How would you feel having your child wake up every day with mucus filling her lungs to the point you had to use a machine to loosen it up?

Giving her breathing treatments every 3 or 4 hours throughout the day, just to keep her oxygen level to a point where she can still breathe?

Could you handle the costs of her over 20 different medicines a day, doctor or hospital visits every week, and fighting the insurance companies who are unwilling to pay for Breanna's increasing medical expenses ?

There are only 30 days to go for this fundraiser, and Bre-Bre needs help as soon as possible.

Please, click on the link below and donate something.

Jesus loves the little children, so I have faith that he will give Breanna what she needs through the love of others.

We do not know what his ultimate plan is for Breanna, but I'm not going to stand by and do nothing.

How about you?

OUT OF THIS WORLD WEDNESDAY WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE FUNDRAISER FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER BREANNA, REACHES IT'S GOAL.

Breanna was blessed with $4oo.oo in donations yesterday!

I want to thank Stan and Dee-Dee for their generous donation, and the others who showed their love by unselfishly contributing toward Bre-Bre's health costs!

After I sang "Oh, Holy Night" at church, on Christmas evening, Breanna was the first to come over and say, "Good job, Babaw," and when I sang with the "Praise Band" last Sunday, she met me as I walked down the steps from the stage, hugged me, and said, "Good job, Babaw," again.

That's Breanna, with her happy, positive attitude that makes everyone adore her, and admire her strength and courage.

When she is having her breathing treatments, with the plastic mask over her mouth and nose, or in the vest that shakes her to loosen the mucus in her lungs, and makes her sound like she's talking into a fan, or making another one of her endless visits to the hospital or doctor, she is generally in good spirits, and never fails to make us laugh by her witty, and thoughtful comments.

Between Breanna and her big sister Brooklin, who is autistic, we are constantly entertained and amazed by their bits of wisdom and pure honesty that their mommy, Ashley, shares with her Facebook friends to everyone's delight!

I know that the goal of $5000.00 to help Breanna get the Eflow machine and medicine may seem hard to reach, but with all of us pulling together, and with God's help, we can do it!

We don't expect everyone to donate a large amount, as people have already done so generously, but whatever your heart suggests, according to your resources.

God bless all of you for showing your sweet love and compassion for little Breanna!

Matt, Ashley, and everyone with a connection to Bre-Bre is eternally thankful!
